“Emily what’s a production?” Drag asked me with a serious look.
“Drag its a word for making something. We are making a book about you.”
“So what does it take to do that?” He squinted his eyes hard trying to think.
“Well, we have all the stories about you that I’ve written” I started counting on my fingers.
“And dragon facts…”
“Yes and dragon facts. Now we will give our ideas to an artist so she can make drawings of you.”
“Pictures of meeee?” Drag did his happy dragon dance.
“Yep. I even have some baby pictures of you. I think we’re going to put a baby picture on a sticker and maybe a t-shirt.”
“A t-shirt for us to wear?”
“You want a t-shirt of yourself?”
“Of course I do. I can advertise the book for you.”
Emily scratched her head. “Hmm
“I can advertise when I’m invisible.”
“Oh Drag, you are such a good helper. We will see what you can do to help. Either way you’ll get a T-Shirt.”
“Yipee” Drag flew down the hallway to his playroom that was getting smaller by the day.
Things are always more complicated than you thought they’d be when you are trying to raise a dragon in the 21st Century!!!
For those of you who have visited in the past (and new people) we are sorry we had to take all our stories off the site as we might be using them for our book “Bringing Up Drag – Raising a dragon in the 21st Century.” We will keep you posted on our progress. Well Emily will tell you how we are doing.
